2. Can I use my sunroom year round?
Yes. Complete Home Construction Inc.. manufactures several types of sunrooms which are designed to be heated and cooled. Our ComfortView Vinyl Sunroom with 7/8" thick dual sealed glass is available with a wide range of glass options including our super high-performance glass for the utmost comfort. Our ComfortView Aluminum Sunroom features 1" dual-sealed insulated glass which adds to the efficiency of our 100% thermally engineered aluminum frames. Both of these rooms would come with a 6" Super Foam Roof with close to an R-30 insulation value! Our Solariums and Conservatories are also designed to be heated and air conditioned in accordance with local building codes. Our unequalled variety of year round products and our experience in building them has taught us that many factors must be considered when designing a year round sunroom. In addition to high performance glass, you also need a thermally engineered frame system and well insulated roof and floor. An additional consideration is a shading system which could improve thermal performance as well as providing privacy and glare control. Your local design professional will discuss your options to help you make your dream a reality during the free, no obligation, in-home Design Consultation .

9. What is safety-tempered glass?
Tempered glass is desirable as a safety precaution. (We are a member of the Safety Glazing Certification Council). We heat and cool our tempered glass in our state-of-the-art oven. This process changes the molecular structure of the glass and strengthens it. Also, if an accidental break happens, tempered glass keeps you safe by breaking into tiny pieces instead of sharp glass shards.
